February 8th marks Safer Internet Day around the globe, each year people join together to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people. Inspiring conversations about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. This years theme is:
“All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online”
Young people are at the forefront of shaping how we interact digitally. From gaming and chat services to streaming and video they are influencing the next new digital ideas.
Safer Internet Day 2022 is focussing on celebrating young people’s role in creating a safer internet. From online gaming to interacting with their friends over video streaming, this Safer Internet Day young people are being challenged to discuss how we can create a safer internet.
