Community Engagement

St Antony’s Centre have always been grounded in supporting communities.  40 years ago, the organization was founded in response to the increase in deprivation and lack of opportunity for the Trafford Park community.

Today the Centre continues to support communities across the North West and Northern Ireland. We have worked with and supported communities in areas such as: Accrington, Blackpool, Runcorn, Liverpool, Belfast, Bolton and Preston.

  • Training - for over 15 years the Reachout team has helped to support local community and church groups across the North West. From online basics sessions to introduction to twitter workshops, we can help your local community group ‘get online’ or provide other informal learning opportunities.
  • Organizing – Do you have an idea to bring about change in your local area? Not sure where to start? Our team is on hand to help you get organising, whether it’s encouraging a ‘greener’ approach for your local high street or raising awareness of Dementia, our team is ready and willing to help you make a difference. Contact a member of the team to kick start or discuss your plans.
  • Campaign Awareness – Over the years St. Antony’s Centre have been involved and instrumental in a number of awareness campaigns that address social justice and protect the dignity of those less fortunate.  We also partner with campaign groups to raise awareness of issues across our network and support the work in any way we can.  Please visit our Facebook and
