Description

This course is designed for those who wish to develop their understanding of the safe handling of medicines. You may wish to access this training with a view to progress on to further qualifications or study this programme to complement other programmes.

As part of the course you will study four mandatory units:

• Understand medication and prescriptions
• Supply, storage and disposal of medication
• Understand the requirements for the safe administration of medication
• Record-keeping and audit processes for medication administration and storage

Course Delivery
Online, 16 Weeks.

Teaching and Assessment
Assessments are due at the end of each unit. Your tutor will assess your work and build up your portfolio of evidence of learning. A certificate will be awarded on satisfactory submission of evidence of learning for the units studied.

Entry Requirements
You will need to be over the age of 19 and been resident in the EU for at least 3 years.
