Description
This qualification aims to develop knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care, and the support needed to manage pain and discomfort. In addition, the qualification explores how dementia impacts on end of life care, the role of the care worker in time of death and the loss and grief process.
Course Delivery
Paper based, 16 weeks.
Teaching and Assessment
Assessments are due at the end of each unit. Your tutor will assess your work and build up your portfolio of evidence of learning. A certificate will be awarded on satisfactory submission of evidence of learning for the units studied.
Entry Requirements
You will need to be over the age of 19 and been resident in the EU for at least 3 years.
