Event Description
The Level 1 and Level 2 Certificates for IT users are aimed at improving your knowledge and understanding of computers.
Level 1 is aimed at people who have a basic knowledge of computers and focusses on teaching you how to make better use of your computer at work and at home as well as new skills and confidence in using word processing, spreadsheets and databases, presentations, internet, e-mail and desktop publishing.
Level 2 is aimed at people who have a working knowledge of computers and focusses on teaching you about the different uses of a computer to meet your own learning aims and the needs of employers as well as how to further develop your skills in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and databses, desktop publishing and web design.
For both Levels 1 & 2 you will need a basic level of English and Maths. Level 1 usually takes around 90 hours to complete and Level 2 around 100 hours to complete.
