Once again St Antony's Centre will be taking a starring role as Weatherfield Community Centre in the ever popular Coronation Street on ITV .
The Conference Room and exterior will be featured in an episode to be screened on the 12th April 2010. The facilities were used to show a community support facility in one of the story lines. Keep your eyes open and see if you can spot us !!
The flexibility of the facilities and the character of this nearly 100 year old building make the Centre a popular choice for filming. Staff at the Centre enjoy watching the filming process up close and personal - as well as getting the first scoops on upcoming storylines!!
The first filming took place in 1994 shortly after the refurbished Centre was reopened when it was featured in an episode of Cracker , sixteen years later it is still proving to be a hit with tv producers.
