FREE Basic Internet Course

Do you want to learn more about using computers and the internet? Are you unsure about where to start?
At St. Antony's Centre we are pleased to be able to offer FREE and EASY TO USE internet courses that are designed to get you started from the very beginning.
It doesn't matter if you have never used a computer before as our staff will give you all the support and guidance you need to get started.
There are 9 million adults in the UK who have never used a computer and the Online basics courses have been launched to assist people in taking their first steps online. There are 6 online basics modules: using a keyboard, using a mouse, using email, searching the internet, internet safety and using public services online. These courses are simple to follow and will provide you with the guidance needed to get online.
Once the Online basics are complete, you will have the option to learn more. It may be that you wish to learn how to use Facebook, learn how to shop online or search for job vacancies. There are a variety of basic courses available to suit everyone!
The initial courses are normally completed within 6-9 hours over 3 sessions, however, once you have signed up with us you can access these courses from anywhere in your own time.
