Room Spec

This large conference room is named after Cardinal Joseph Cardijn (pronounced car-dine) who was the founder of the Young Christian Workers. This is our most popular and versatile room and you may even have seen this room featured on episodes of 'Coronation Street'. The room is situated on the first floor of our centre and is accessible by stairs or a stairlift for visitors with disabilities.

The large room has windows to three sides providing both panoramic views of the village area and plenty of natural light.  All windows can be curtained off if necessary to aid your presentation.

The room is also equipped with 6 double power points, one of which is dedicated for computer use and internet access. 

A recently installed digital LCD television screen which can be connected to a Windows 7 enabled laptop for easy playback of content. We also have a newly installed projector and screen screen to assist with your presentation. 

The approximate dimensions of the Cardijn Conference room are 38ft x 34ft and can accommodate as follows:

The room may be booked on a half or full day basis. A full day is 9am until 5pm. Half day bookings are from 9am until 1pm or 1pm until 5pm.
