Welcome to St Antony's Centre


Welcome to the website for St Antony's Centre for Church and Industry.  We hope you find the site interesting and informative and that you enjoy learning about our unique Centre.  The Centre was established in 1979 and in 2015 was registered as a separate Charity with our legal separation from the Diocese of Salford taking place in December 2018.

The Centre has four key Departments: World of Work, Conference Facilities, Training, Heritage.  You can see information about these Departments by clicking on the picture or you can use the navigation bar at the top of this web page.     

There is also a search function at the bottom of this page to allow you to look for areas of interest.

Throughout the site you will see text highlighted in red - clicking on these words will take you to a relevant section of our website or to another external website containing useful information.  Please note we accept no responsibility for the content of external websites.

St Antony's Centre works in partnership with a number of organisations.  The Centre is a member of Caritas Social Action Network (CSAN), to view their website, please click here.

The Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the Centre at present is closed to the public and all direct face-to-face meetings and conferences have been cancelled.  However the Centre remains open and our staff are working remotely to assist people during this crisis.  Our normal telephone lines are open and staffed throughout the week, Telephone 0161 848 9173.  We are preparing a range of Covid-19 support materials and advice to assist people during this difficult time.  View the latest news on the top right hand corner of this web page, to access additional information click on the news story itself and this will take you to the information.
